Mooring for residential boats is permitted alongside three commons in Cambridge: Jesus Green, Midsummer Common, and Stourbridge Common. Pontoons are allowed at Riverside.

We let out mooring spaces according to our River Moorings Policy [PDF, 4MB]. They are subject to our boat mooring rules and regulations.

The waiting lists for licences are both closed until the estimated wait is less than 18 months. You can check the waiting lists below.

Renew your licence

We aim to send licence renewal application packs to licence holders in early February of each year. Forms and supporting documents must be returned by the end of the first week of March.

Licence fee

You can pay for your licence annually or by monthly direct debit.
